Where It All Began
As the mid-seventies approached, a number of studies revealed that several bodies in manufacturing had similar demands for a reliable and efficient flooring system. The flooring solution in question would have to comply with regulations as well as being hygienic, have a clean and pleasing appearance, be slip-resistant, simple to clean, and, most importantly, be a long-lasting solution.
The founder, and current CEO of AcryliCon, Bjørn Hegstad, began to research these studies and how it may be possible to develop resin flooring solutions that would comply with all of the necessary requirements stated in the studies. After dedicating numerous years researching and developing a formula that would be hardwearing and sustainable, in 1977, Hegstad established AcryliCon.
After distinguishing the most suitable generic properties in various raw materials, Hegstad, and a team of experts developed a solution that was able to combine fast curing and durability. For then on forward, Hegstad and his growing team continued to develop flooring systems that would exceed the expectations and needs of each and every AcryliCon client.

Since the foundations of AcryliCon were developed in 1977 and the invention of a unique and sustainable formula transformed resin flooring solutions, AcryliCon has become a world-renowned company within the flooring solution industry. AcryliCon still works towards providing flooring solutions worldwide, ensuring that they meet client requirements and last longer.
